The evolution of light for Hair Removal

The Treatment

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) hair removal can take anywhere from 5 minutes (upper lip) to 60 minutes (full torso/leg) depending on the area to be treated. You can return to work or to your normal daily routine immediately following treatment.

The ULTRA ENERGIST IPL treatment uses short, safe, controlled pulses of filtered light to remove unwanted hair in minutes.
Pulses of red light are absorbed by melanin, the pigment found in hair. When the light is absorbed it is converted to heat - a process that is very similar to what happens inside a car during summer... as the sun shines through the windscreen the light is best absorbed into dark areas of the car such as the dash board and steering wheel. It converts to heat, making them hot to touch. The same process happens to the hair shaft and mature hair follicle. Once this area heats up the hair is destroyed. The result... NO hair growth.

Hairs treated will fall out naturally over a period of 1-3 weeks leaving your skin feeling smooth and looking silky.

All hair growth cycles are slightly different and some women, at a mature stage in their life, will sometimes find that some hairs will appear gradually over time due to increased hormone activity.
